Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the formal program will begin at 7:00 p.m. The forum will include candidate opening and closing statements and questions prepared by the sponsoring organizations and audience members. The formal program will conclude by 8:00 p.m., followed by refreshments and an opportunity to speak with attendees until 8:30 p.m. The program is also expected to be livestreamed.

Candidates and representatives of local ballot issues will each have five minutes to address voters. A meet-and-greet will follow in the cafeteria outside the auditorium.

Candidates will gather at the Lorain County Board of Elections from approximately 4:00–5:00 p.m. before heading to St. Lad’s to speak with guests at the rally and fundraiser.

The Coalition for Hispanic/Latino Issues & Progress (CHIP) hosts regular candidate forums in Lorain, Ohio, to connect local voters with contested election candidates.

The celebration will include welcoming remarks from Bryan K. Jensen and State Representative Gayle Manning, free trees for the first 30 Avon residents, planting and pruning demonstrations, food and drinks available for purchase, and live music by Curt Vigg and the Avon High School Jazz Band.
